I did a Bastard pack for my XJ (95) and used 95 Dakota 4X4 rear springs and ended up with 4.5" of lift in the rear.

I used the XJ main (left in place on XJ the whole time), then added all of the Dakota leafs- Dakota main leaf eyes were cut off and spring trimmed to same length as the XJ main.

Been going strong for over a year now.

Up front I used 3" lift coils and 1.25" spacer to get to 4.25" of lift, has a nice aggressive stance although I could use some newer lower control arms- I put a new adjustable track bar on and some RC shocks and was done. I would not go any higher than I have without some different control arms.
