Anyone in the tri-county area? I need the axle narrowed 2" to 3" per side. I'm stuffing this under the Willys Wagon.
The Willys axle is 59" wide and the 9"axle is 63" wide, so 3" shorted per side would be perfect.

Thought about narrowing myself but I don't want another 1- 10 year project in a project.
Thanks in advance.

Screw narrowing it if you don't need to. A 8.8 is like 59" and easy to find.

The full width 8.8 in the full size bronco/f150 has 5x5.5. Maybe you can have the full width shafts cut down and resplined for the explorer 8.8? Or just have the shorter shafts redrilled to 5x5.5.
