i had my truck broke into a year ago the guy stole my head unit broke the wiring harness stole my change and phone but he didnt take my brass knuckles? idk why but i did find out who did it and he got caught with my stolen property and was arrested

Were your doors locked? I religiously lock mine, wide awake or asleep. I even go as far as to run my seat belts through the arm rest and latch them when I stay at some shit hole like Steel City in Gary. At least they will have to break the glass to get in which would wake me up.

I can't even imagine the balls (desperation) it would take to crawl up in a truck drivers rig while the driver is in the sleeper. A friend of mine smashed a guys face in with the claw end of a hammer when said guy (ninja) tried to do exactly what happened to you. Take a wild guess where it happened... Gary, IN at the Pilot truck stop.

Man, that sucks, Lee. I always locked my doors when I stopped over night, for that reason. It happened to me in Findlay, Ohio about 10 years ago. For what it's worth, he'll try again, and and up dead. Did you buy a persuader today? I always liked my chain bar for that...

Question for the truckers: Are there some places where you do not lock your doors? I wouldnt think that I would sit at a truck stop for 5 minutes in the middle of the day with my doors unlocked.
