Been watching the inner/outer "ring" wheel for a while now. They say they are testing them on bikes now.

Their main/best market is rough road markets, either in construction, or back country/third world stuff like rural asia/africa/south america.

Ride and versatility are compromised but eliminates flats. If you've spent time in areas like those, its a huge issue, especially on commercial vehicles. Almost every heavy truck in the Amazon region had central tire inflation systems to try to survive the long hauls through the jungle regions. In Mexico, there are little tire repair stands along the roads all over the place due to the poor condition of the roads.

Due to the lack of adjustability, I don't see any inroads in refined car markets.
 
they were designed for the milatary to use on the hummers. I worked in a factory that was part of the proto-type

they had alot of problems with keeping the polyurethane (honeycomb) glued to the steel wheel. they over all didient really hold up.
