Cool way to repurpose a tool. I'd definitely want to be in a well ventilated area. I've been wanting a parts washing bin. I wonder how well a sand blasting cabinet would work if converted over.
The corner of my shop this is in has a window on each wall and it blew right out no problem, I'd definitely not do it in front of my torpedo heater lol.Cool way to repurpose a tool. It's probably ok to burn a fatty while doign this, though, right?I don't have great photos of this, but I think you can get the idea.
I basically took one of the cheap, shitty siphon feed sand blast guns, removed the pickup tube, replaced it with a hose, dropped that in my parts washer, turned the pressure down to 40 psi, and it cleaned the ever loving crap out of my head and valves with very little effort on my part.
I'd recommend caution when aerosolizing flammable liquids in your shop also, but it worked tits for me.
