I'm on my 3rd block in 1.5 years :sonicjay: So a lot.

Install a 02 sensor to monitor lean running :teehee:
Engine has a guardian system, more sensors then you can shake a stick at, but unlike a 350 chevy a 2 stroke outboard is pretty sensitive, where as you could run a 350 on dirt and dog piss and not hurt it....

You sneeze wrong with an outboard running 7,000 rpm and it will blow up. :sonicjay:

98 Outrage 18 with a 135 Merc.
that boat would be perfect for fishing, tubing, and as a swim platform. You can fish on lake MI or in the shallowest inland lakes. don't let chads bad fortune steer you away from a gem like that.:thumb:

Agreed, a 135 merc that has lived it's life at 4,000 rpm and below is a reliable motor that will run forever like a swiss watch. Motors like mine and my brothers are a total different ball game.

Whalers rock!

You missed one hell of a weekend.

A major reason boats>wheelers are the people. I had the only go-fast on B dock. Within 2 hours, kate & I were on the neighbors Sundancer heading to deckers for dinner/drinks. Had a great time. Then came back, and the bar at the marina was packed. Saturday watched some of the races, went by the moot, then got off the water before the storm. Kate & I ended up sitting in the bar drinking Oberon for 4 hours bs'ing with all the other folks there.

It was nice to do a trip and have zero drama.....which seemed to happen on several wheeling trips.

I know I did :(

Yes, I agree about boaters being great people EVERY time I sleep on the boat and am hanging at the dock having drinks you end up partying with the whole marina....

the only reason boaters seem like good people is because they were all too drunk the night before to remember what happened.:teehee: the best thing about a boat is that if you don't like your neighbors, move to another slip/marina.:sonicjay:

From my experiences "back in the day" there's a lotta truth there. I used to spend Friday - Sunday at the marina and it was like a nonstop party and you were always on someone else's boat - very hospitable people powerboaters....

Another nice thing about boaters are the racks that come with them......I swear 1/2 of the marina chicks have fake tits.

Also, if you ever want to nail a towny....hang at the marina bar friday night. Bitches would do anything to get on a boat for Saturday. Even my wife (who is A LOT nicer than I am) commented on that.

If you can afford to cruise around in a 38' tiara with twin 454's, you better be able to afford a nice rack for the old lady.:woot: come up to pentwater and bring the boat dave. you can tell the wife its a business trip, cause orgies are not cheating, they are business.
