Who cares, the guy is out there having fun and hurt nothing but his own rig. He also has a silver ford raptor that he constantly beats the hell out of, so breaking things doesn't seem to be a major concern of his. Yes, he may have more balls than driving skill...but that's entertainment for the rest of us.

I don't understand why people are praising him like some sort of hero for blowing a jump and trashing his truck, but the same goes for the people hating on him for having fun out there...as long as he has a spotter for jumping, follows the park rules, and hurts nobody but himself....let him be. It's natural selection at its best, eventually...they weed themselves out.
Once again, this video was only mildly unsafe compared to other videos of his jackassery. I didn't have to look long to find him roosting people at the top of test or flying around only a few feet from parked people. The icing fore was him blindly hitting a roller and smashing drift wood at a high rate of speed. His nut swinger told me its was an accident he didn't see the drift wood stump. It was the size of a quad, so that leads me to believe it could have easily been tragic. Also a few people have pointed out personal stories of close calls with said pud puller.

I read on the slsd forum this pile of garbage is ready for another weekend of being a pile of garbage. 1/2 my casino cash to the person who posts fotos of the hack job fix of the chassis.

He fish plated the frame where it broke. Looked fine to me. He was busy working on something when I stopped by. Not the greatest designed rig but its not as bad as you guys that have never seen it are claiming.

is there not a bar from the B pillar to the rear of the truck, or atleast behind the rear suspension load point?

Not to keep this all going, but that truck is an out of date Pro 2 that has a 5.0 in it now I believe. I have not seen it this year but last year it had a 351 that was on the passenger side not in the front, but you should have been able to figure that out from the pics/ vid. He also has a old prolite with a 22R that's still tore up from last year. Or at least was a few weeks ago.

I really don't know Mike well but we have mutual freinds and I have been around him now and again. He seem like a alright guy, probably not wired right, but that could be said about alot of us :sonicjay:.

"I cant believe all the critics out there in the internet world! I have been building this truck for over a year! it started out as a short course race truck we converted to play in the sand dunes, we have been increasing our distance each time we go out, the truck is almost perfectly weighted, I never dreamed in a million years I would fly that far or stay in the air that long, the video doesn't show the first two jumps I made that were perfect, I had my foot mashed on the brake as hard as I could I was going over 70 mph at launch and yes after watching the video I built a large sail and I am telling you write now that I will fix the issue and some point someday when the time is write I will go over 200ft. P.S. the truck should be back in action this weekend!"
