I've had Tim do tons of work for me. He's worked on all my guns. He's done everthing from melting Bo-Mar's into my 1911 to glass bedding and floating my rifles. His full-custom rifles are awesome!

I need some work done on my fathers Fulton double barrel shotgun.

He blew apart the stock pulling both triggers at the same time.

Can you PM me an estimate?

You do NOT need a class III FFL to own full auto in Michigan, you just need to pay the $200 transfer and file the proper form [depending on the type of transfer] to the BATF per the National Firearms Act of 1934.
But the Gun Control Act of 1986 made it unlawful to make any new full auto.

Any discussion on converting your firearm into full auto could put you in jail for conspiracy, any FFL/SOT knows this.

The ban on "assult weapons" has ben lifted. not full auto.

a recent Attorney General Opinion (#7183) issued in December of 2005. It reversed and superseded an earlier, longstanding Attorney General Opinion (#5210 1977-78). Both opinions interpret MCL 750.224 which prohibits possession of machine guns except for those “licensed” to possess them. The old Attorney General Opinion reached the conclusion that a private citizen could not possess a machine gun because Michigan does not have any provisions for licensing them. The new Attorney General Opinion states that the Federal approval process for ownership and transfer of machine guns is a “license” under the statute and therefore, a Michigan resident can possess a machine gun as long as it is lawfully possessed under federal law. Generally, this means the machine gun was properly registered before May 19, 1986 and was lawfully possessed on that date or lawfully transferred after that date.

therefore you may own a full auto [class III] firearm in MI

if you still don't understand the current laws... then you should at be really good at believing the media

Sorry to 'steal your thread' Tim, but your getting it bumped to the top at least
