The US Postal Service has issued a recall of a stamp they created with
a picture of now U.S. President, George W. Bush to honor his achievements
while serving as the President of our nation.

The problem was discovered when claims had been
made that the stamp was not sticking to envelopes, and that mail which had
been sent using the "George W" postage was not being delivered.
President Bush demanded a full investigation into the allegations.

A special Postal Service Investigation team was formed and after
several months and many dollars spent, made the following findings:
*The stamp was manufactured properly.
*There was nothing wrong with the adhesive.
*People were just spitting on the wrong side.

You have to be dead to be on a stamp? There was an Elvis stamp and we all know that he is not dead. He stopped by my house the other day to use the bathroom.

Apparently, there was much more "spitting" in the oval office when Bill Clinton was there. Right Monica? :sonicjay: :d:

funny except you need to be dead to be put on a stamp.
Nope-not any more. You can send the post office your own picture, and they will make stamps for you.

(At least that was true a year ago...we saw it in a wedding planner guide...couples can have a picture of themselves printed on stamps used for wedding invitations.)
