you know, with a piece of wire you can make the winch work without a controller, all it takes is some common sense and about 10 minutes to pull the cover off the control box.
even then i used a screw driver and used it to touch the 2 contacts where the controler plugs in...

just a thought but hey no one likes to get electricuted heh...

it worked though..

i hope the DNR doesnt catch you while your looking out the window as they pass by :miff:
 
Yeah I appreciate it, But unfortunately its 3 pin. :(
I don't even think three pin winch control's have a safety switch. Take a piece of wire and put it in two of the three holes. It will either go in, or out, or nothing. If its not the desired selection, change the holes you have the wires in.

Make sure you use a tree saver if you're hooking to a tree! :tonka:

My buddy is driving back there, and theres actually two stuck vehicles that hes found. Whats your license plate number so he knows which one to start digging out? He really wants that winch.

lol i dont believe you. And how would he not know what it is, Its the jeep. If you prove to me whats around the jeep other then mud trees and snow i will believe you
