Anyone do this upgrade on a 304ci?? I want to get some input before I go and try it... Is it worth the cost

i did it to a 360 in my grand wagoneer.
WELL worth it. would do it again in a heartbeat if i needed to.

did you replace the advance springs also or just the basics

I did it all, big cap and rotor, new springs, TFI coil, new wires

It ran aas good if not better than my other 360 with an HEI dizzy upgrade after the TFI

I agree, also on a 360.

I went from stock prestolite to a Mallory distributor with jacobs ignition to a stock motorcraft distributor with the TFI upgrade and it was the best of the bunch.

Yep, did it on a 258 in my old cj. Made it run like new, maybe better. Can't go wrong when it costs little more than a standard tuneup
