Hey I'm building a new longboard skate board out of Brazilian Cherry Hard Maple and Purple Heart and I need to do a layer of fiberglass on top and bottom to prevent it from cracking. Wondering if you guys knew where I can get some supplies in the Clarkston area that is open today.
Thanks
Tom

Meijer's sells the stuff you need. you'll have to make your own roller or use a paint brush to walk down the matt

I got some at O'reillys. It wasn't quite the right size so I had to splice it but it'll work ok I guess. Just need to prevent the wood from cracking.

I wanted a nice looking board, so no skis. Here is a pic

That looks awesome man. Good job.

If you ever need any more glass, shoot me a PM. I've got a bunch of it for building skis and snowboards, precut in 6" and 12" widths.
