So I'm swapping a blown 97 TJ motor with a 91 YJ motor. 2.5 the heads are the same per reman numbers. I am going to do a complete top swap and keep the 97 head and intake since the head was just resurfaced and rockers and lifter were replaced 2 weeks ago. My only problem is the distributer and oil sensor on the side of the block.
The question is how far off is the distributer going to be off if any and should I swap the oil sensor on the side of the motor since it's a different style or just make that one work?
Thanks.

I told you to swap all the sensors to the new motor. I have done this swap. Listen to me.
The top end is now getting swapped also. I have gotten TONS of conflicting info on this swap. Just trying to make sure.
