Set-up your paypal with your bank account instead. You get better protection and will become a verified paypal user.

for better protection, setup another bank account, link the paypal account to the new account, and keep the minimum in that account the bank will allow...transfer funds into it as necassary...if anything does go wrong, nobody is taking any money out of your main bank account, they can only get what is in the paypal linked bank account

my info was once stolen from Paypal somehow, and PayPal would do nothing about it.

the guy has real good feedback and is in california , i have a paypal account already setup with this debit card and used it threw ebay 1 time already , today it just wont go threw , my total is 51bucks and some change so i guess i could give him my card number over the phone and if i see anything else taken out of the account i know ware it went , this is my michigan unemployment debit card by the way and 99% of the time i just go to the atm machine and pull all the money out anyways so the chances of him getting one over on me are slim to none , his ebay name is fsolitro and hes got a 100% positive feedback and a 750 next to his name ( not sure what that is )

Hell no you shouldnt give him your credit card number! Its risky enough giving it to legit big businesses where some disgruntled toad may steal it--let alone some dude on ebay who you have no idea how he processes his transactions.

Send him a postal money order and tell him you will add 5 bucks for the trouble.

Well worth it not to have to deal with someone using your credit card all over the world--be the victim of ID theft and spend years trying to straighten it out--etc etc

I used to work at a pawn shop where I sold a lot of odd ball things on ebay that would sit on the shelf for a long time. We only did credit cards over the phone for payments. They would call, Id take the info down and run it thru the machine then shred the paper rite after the payment was approved. I guess since I was on the other side of the deal, I felt just fine about it because I knew for sure that there was no shady stuff going on. I had tons of good feedback and never one problem from it
