until you're on the throttle and one tire comes off the ground and the locker goes BANG.

i wheeled with the same detroit for almost 5 years and its still going strong in texas

v8 in a jeep and buggy with multiple other broken parts, shafts, and R&P and never once had the locker fail.

Just get some ARB's and have both quality and versatility you cheap bastard!
hey chubby, the e-locker costs the same as an arb. Prior to me buying it, I didn't wheel with anybody that had one. But on the other hand, the people I wheel with always are having seals leaking, pumps failing, and thier arb's suck.

Details :popcorn:
Eaton wanted to make sure it was broken before going any further. I talked with a guy (I won't say his name or title) who asked me if I was the guy complaining on the great lakes board.

I had to do some tests and will be calling him tomorrow morning to hopefully return this hunk of junk.

ARB's don't suck that bad if they're plumbed right. The newer lockers have different bulkhead fitting, and offer a different HD air line kit that makes 'em a little less leak prone. The seals are really cheap, too, unless you second day air them.

in the few years ive had ARB's in my Jeep ive never had 1 problem with the lockers themself. I had to modify the wiring harness once and i just replaced the mini compressor pressure switch($40). I will never run a locker other then an ARB period. I just got from Powertank their ARB Jet Pak system so im gonna run that as a backup to the compressor.

Fantastic :sonicjay::sonicjay:

Although it is pretty funny companies have to pay attention to their online image these days. Definitely adds a bit of accountability.

ARB's that are never engaged on pavement probably won't give you any problems. Your compressor was probably siezed due to lack of use. :poke:
