Thinking of making the switch. Currently have a Samsung Fascinate, had it for a while and it is starting to act up on me. My brother has the new RAZR and it is ok. But nothing great. Wife has an Iphone and loves it. Anybody switched and had regrets? On Verizon if that matters.

Just depends on what you want in a phone. If you want a smooth running phone with plenty of crap available to go with it then get an iphone. Using the term Droid is a pretty wide brush. Droid is just a trade name that Verizon uses. As far as Android OS goes you can have anything you want.
What's wrong with the RAZR? The OS? The build?

The Razr is big with not that great of battery life. I don't want something that I have to root to make it work. I want something that runs good out of the box. I don't need to do anything fancy with it. Make calls, texts, get emails, surf the web, and play a game now and then and I am happy.

Just did the switch I have the iPhone 4 and am on it now. Love it. Great quality apps are great quality. Only thing I miss is a menu button for some actions. I jail broke mine in 10 min of having it and love it. Just gives it bit more customization. Get a case for it the whole phone is glass.

I went from Android to iPhone and went back to Android. Huge mistake. I will be switching back to my iPhone shortly. Sure Android might technically be more capable, but my iPhone always worked. Make make the switch and give it a fair chance, you won't regret it.

I have an HTC Droid Incredible and I am so SICK of the battery life, the trouble I have been having charging it, the chargers failing because VZW doesnt stock HTC chargers, etc. It's become progressively slower and sometimes (infrequently) will freeze up.

I am a few minutes away from ordering the Iphone since I am sitting at work with a dead phone that wont charge.

It makes me fell a lot better that Shawn hates his phone less than he used to. ;-)

I switched to iphone 4s. No regrets. There are a few quirks with iphone, and I could give a shit about apple... Once you get past the quirks, basically just learning how to use the OS and itunes, its a great phone. I looked at the razr and the bionic before I got the 4s. I didnt want to carry around a frickin tablet. Plus even at the store they had to have the things plugged into the wall behind the counter - i took that as a warning on battery life.

I think I had battery life issues early on but it seems to have ironed itself out, or i just dont notice it anymore. The phone is very stable, none of the glitches that android had requiring a reboot or force closing an app. I dont care about hardware, specs or any of that shit. I just want the thing to work.

I use it mostly for the camera, texting, games, web, etc. Works fine.

O ya, the price for the 32G 4s was either cheaper or the same as the bionic, so the cost was a wash

I watch movies on my droid charge, the iphone screen is to small. plus, free payed app everyday for my android OS through amazon. can you even watch youtube through the iphone yet? i kow there was a movement away from flash to html for videos. plus apple sued everyone because apple thinks they invented slide to unlock.
