Done.
Some of the comments at the end are quite amusing.
 Tell the governor to reduce the fat, get the lazy people off their duffs and cut out full-time welfare cheaters of robbing appropriated moneys that could be better used for better activities.
 DNR enforcement is very rude and think they are above the law. Something needs to be done.

From page 108-115 is a survey and a letter. Could we fill it out & send it in, even if we aren't one of the 2,000 registered voters selected to take the survey??????????

Currently this is just the draft form/plan.

The Meetings or an Internet Response is the only way to make changes to the draft/plan.

Once the plan is adopted (regardless of it's final form) we will have to address the issues omitted via a much different forum. Timeliness is the key right now. If you can't attend a meeting, PLEASE respond via the internet Survey.

Timing is everything right now...

I'm just back from the Grand Rapids meeting.
There were 3 people present representing the 4x4 community.
All GLFWDA.

It was quite a bit smaller meeting than I would have imagined for such an important topic. There were only 7 other citizens, 2 Grants Department personnel, and Dr. Nelson in attendance.

Dr. Nelson made a Power Point presentation about the SCORP survey, the results, and what has been interpolated from it. Comments were issued by people representing wind power generation, rails to trails, West Michigan Development Council, and GLFWDA.

This was an excellent opportunity to get the 4x4 access message out to a different arm of the Department than we are usually in contact with.

I must stress how important these meetings are. This is our best opportunity to let the State know we're here. SCORP provides direction for all State recreational spending until 2012!
