its not the boat that has issues. its the pedal shaft on one side. some how the tube the shaft goes into on the paddle broke ( its aluminum). I cannot remove the shafts without damaging the paddles or pedals so it will need to be welded in place. so if someone has a tig or spool gun its an easy fix. $125
