And if so, what was the last book you read? Or are currently reading?

For the past couple months, I have been on a fiction reading kick. Before then, it had probably been a couple years since I picked up a book for fun.

Just finished:

Right now I'm halfway through Thucydides' History of the Peloponnesian War about the 30 year war between Sparta and Athens (and their respective allies). Pretty good stuff, but not a quick read by any means.

I like a lot of history stuff.

you should try Stephen R. Donaldson if you like science fiction,

either THE GAP or THE THOMAS COVENANAT seriers are both good.

Kind of sick take on Grimm's Fairy Tales. I'd rate it low to average.

Believe it or not the harry Potter series was a realy good read. Obviously a lot more story than what the movies can fit into 3 hour films.

great book, i highly recommend

Breakfast of Champions, that was my personal favorite

Hollywood made the movie for BofC and bruce willis was in it, simply because he loved the story, very bad movie though.

I had Fight Club laying around and read it and that's what got me on the Palahniuk kick. And the Choke movie comes out in September which is what brought that to my current reading status.

Here's a preview: http://www.foxsearchlight.com/choke/

Dude, you will be full-on nhilistic after reading Palahaniuk, much less following that up with American Pshcho. That book sicked me out the first time I read it. Now, I re-read it and laugh my ass off at it. The fact that no-one can tell anyone apart makes the book brilliant.

I'm reading a Neal Asher book (SF) called Line War, and re-reading Atlas Shrugged right now. (gotta do it once a year to review)
