This is just raw footage. You pay for the editing and such when you buy a DVD. These shots are cool and all but when they are all edited together with in cab shots and other shots they are that much better.:nana:

When I am there filming there are people with little cameras filming the same stuff to put on youtube, so its not secret footage or anything.... and why not get my name out there with some youtube vids?
Cool videos! Thanks for sharing the raw footage!

Since you're down there listening to the trail talk, why does it seem like so many guys are running manual transmissions? Do they really prefer them or do they just not want to deal with any automatic trans related issues? Based on what the videos show, an auto would be the obvious choice...

And about 90% TSL's. Did you guys get like 4 truckloads of tsl's or something? Hey Bryce, where did you see all the manuals? Kinda hard for me to tell I guess.
I think they choose manuals for strength and easiness to work on. Also its easier to push in the clutch and slam it in reverse to save a roll with a manual than with an automatic trans.

As for the TSLs they just work well in the 44in flavor, A few guys are running the 42 Irok stickies and they are ridiculous on the rocks. That is what I would run if I had 2k to spend on tires:naughty:

The Riddler buggy and the spider buggy are manuals. Some have high stall converters so it kind of seems like a manual but those are the two that stood out after looking back through the videos.

I think it's harder to grab reverse in a manual trans than an auto with a good shifter.
maybe on the inclines they're on just pushing in the clutch is enough to let gravity pull them through?
Yeah I would want to have a clutch I would think If I was doing this or an Auto with a good Shifter Setup that could be slammed into reverse easily.

To each his own i guess

Shouldn't you be posting on your forums :sonicjay:

yep pushing in that clutch brings it back 99% of the time...i will take a manual anyday.
