i'm not 100%, but i wanna say the 4cyl were most commonly with the 3.73. now if you had a 4cyl, automatic WITH towpackage, then they had 4.10.

i think that's how they were set up. either way, the stock 4.10s are extremely rare. i've never come across one or known anybody that had one.

ps.....i thought YJ's were low pinion D30's??? are you sure you have high pinion???

A HPD44.

:stan:
I agree, BUT

I want to drive the jeep now.
To switch to the 44 I'll need to...

Buy a 44
Rebuild maybe regear
Steering
New rims and swap tires to them
Change rear to 5 on 5.5
+ whatever I forgot off the top of my head.

I wanna drive it while I do/buy the above so I need the d30 gears. Now go find them.

I may have a complete YJ D30 with 4.56's and one of those cable-lock disco-eliminator thingamabob's this weekend
