warn premium hubs for just over 40 bucks. Not to menction you said you had a gift card so we took your word for it no questions asked. and we havent even charged you for the item yet. yes we are having a problem with a vendor right now and we are trying to find out what is going on with them. they say it was shipped and yet we dont have it.

i agree. they were not helpful when i went there.

and they didnt have any HI LIFT jacks there. none.
how do you have an off road shop with none of them there?

this is almost exactly what i posted in a different thread, I know. just my opinion, but they(more than one person) made a poor first impression on me and i will not go back there. and hi lift jacks are only as unsafe as thier user.

Yes. I figured I would hear about the gift card part. I read you the numbers off from the back of it didn't I ? Why should that be an issue..If anyone wins a gift card at the Jeep Blessing this year from 2TMO then it's no good ? I haven't use it because your online storefront has been under construction for a year ! I inquired several times as to when it would be up and running..check your e-mails

If you are having a problem with the vendor. Don't keep telling me that I will be receiving them the next day when you don't even have them ! It would have been nice to have got a call after I called to order on March 17th and promised later that week, to inform me otherwise. All I am saying is that if you don't have the product ...don't say that you do !

We're at the mercy of our vendors and we take the heat for it. I'm sorry you don't have your hubs yet. Our vendor told us they shipped the hubs and didn't. We were told we will have them tomorrow. In the future we will be using another source for Warn parts. I'm sorry for your inconvenience.

About the Hi Lift, We normally do have them in stock. If you were treated badly here I would like to know who it was that did this to you.

I wandered over there last spring just to see what the place was all about. Seeing as how I was already there and needed a flag mount anyway, I asked how much it would be to come up with a simple flag mount (nothing fancy) for a dune flag. The guy at the counter quoted me something like $150.

I am not sure who it was that helped me, so I am not saying everyone there is bad (heck it was prolly the tard with the exo-cage), but it left a sour taste in my mouth. I went home, took a scrap peice of bar-stock, drilled two holes and had a flag mount.

Not saying the place is bad, since I really dont have experience, but that single quote for a flag mount really left a bad taste in my mouth.

well, they did have three of them at the time. but they were all at one of the employees houses. but it took 3 people and 10 min to figure that out. they did offer to order me one though.
it was not about the jack. it was about the attitude.

they were also less than thrilled to even talk to me.

the general attitude was that they did not value my presence. i had cash that i was willing to spend. but they did not seem to be interested. i dont remember who it was, it was several months ago.
it just left me unimpressed and gives me no reason to return.

I've seen this rant about 3 times from you in other posts.

I don't think you should be publicly bashing a company because of this situation. What are you hoping to gain out of this? Do you want them to close down because you didn't feel you were treated properly?

Don't return... you don't have to go anywhere you don't want to. I just think it's rude to try and drive business away from a company unless you had a major issue that cost you time, money, or frustration on an actual transaction.

I have been to TSC looking for a HiJack and they have been out of stock. Long drive to the nearest one for me. Now that I see you are probably the reason, buying 3 at a time, I will not go to your store, or TSC since they were out of stock once and you were probably at fault. :teehee:

ALRIGHT I GET IT.

again,

I DID NOT CARE ABOUT THE JACK.
that was just an example.

i cared about the way they treated me and it seemed very unprofesional.
the jack was not the only reason i went there. i knew i could pick one up at TSC or even harbor freight for cheaper and both places were closer.

I went there to check out the shop and meet the staff. they were not very hospitable when i was there and i will not forget that.

DONE. END OF STORY.

When it comes to a HiLift jack, safety is paramount. Regardless of where you buy, make sure you get the HiLift jack and not the Farm-Jack.
There is a huge difference in quality and reliability.
I have seen Farm-Jacks buckle under moderate loads. And I have seen my HiLift take most of the abuse from a rear end collision. (guy rear ended me when I had the jack bumper mounted. Bent it to where I would not use it again, but not very much.)

TSC sells both
I have not seen the HiLift at Harbor Freight, only the Farm-Jack.

As far as service, I have never been to 2TMO. No opinion.

2TMO Bad Service

We had our Jeep taken to 2TMO about a month ago to have a 4 1/2" lift kit installed. He said it would cost a total of $1100 for the kit and installation but then he wrote the estimate up for $1300 and when we asked why he said just in case we run into any problems this is worst case. Not feeling completely right about this we still went ahead with it. The manager called my husband the next am and said everything went smooth...So we figure the $1100, right? Well not exactly..... When he called back in the afternoon to let us know it was ready he said it was now $1600 total....WHAT??? I decide to call and figure out what happen. I get him on the phone and he acted as if I were an inconvenience and he didn't want to explain... I knew then this was not going to be so easy...

His explanation... Well we had some trouble.. You told my husband it went "smooth"? Well it happen after the phone call....WTF? So what happen? He says the shock bolts froze up and they had to be tapped out. Ummm...Its a 2001, is this not pretty normal for them to rust and become difficult to get out?

So we go to pick it up and the first thing I notice is my front end is not sitting straight. I ask him what happen and he said your axle is bent. How did this happen, I reply? I don't know it was like that when you brought it in. And I never noticed it before because, why? He also stated they would not work on it anymore....Ok..we would not want you to at this point but thank you for clearing this up.

I get in my jeep and try to drive it down the road, the hubby just dont want to deal with them. I cant keep my jeep on the road, the pull was so bad I was running off the street.

We deiced to take it in and have it looked at. 2 Places said my axle is not bent. 1 said the right side toes don't match up and a front end alignment was never done. They gave us the paperwork that showed it was and we did pay for it. Both companies said they will not work on the jeep because of the work done and I should take it back.

To be honest with the way we were treated I would rather drive it in the ground and let people know the experience we had and hope they will find another place. However, we have 3 children we put in the jeep and would like to make sure it is safe.

Oh yeah and all of a sudden it is no longer pulling but the front tire is still bent out. I was told something might have broke. It does make some noise in the front near the tire.. This just started a couple days ago so were not sure what it is yet.

Anyone have any recommendations for a good company that may help? This was the only local place we found to work on them and thats not gonna happen, again.
