I just checked engine grounds thier good.
only code the onbord comp gives me is 11 wich has to do with the cps and i just replaced it.

new witin last 500 miles
engine, tps, cps, bolth O2's, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel psi reg, fule filter.

fuel psi was checked 500miles ago and was good.

have to check for spark today
im tinking maybe the ignition coil but unshure till i find out if it's geting spark.

what are some other things to consider along the ignition system?

if it has spark ill move on to fuel system
other than the fuel pump are there any other electronic components to the fuel system that could fail that i havent replaced?

I kinda had the same problem a couple of days ago. I checked for spark and replaced my CPS. I Checked my spark again and found out my coil was bad. I was also told to check the camshaft position sensor in the distributor.

Sucks for me because I replaced a $90 part when a $30 part would have fixed it.

Check the coil and the camshaft PS. My money is on the coil though.

Did you clear the codes after you replaced the CPS? I could stop by during the morning/early afternoon to lend you a hand (don't know your schedule)...just shoot me a call and I can help.

None of this matters. Any of the things you replaced could have failed. Fuel pressure checked 500 miles ago means nothing now....you could have blown the fuse to the pump.

This is a new failure and you have to start back at square 1 for diagnosis.

Remember, you need 4 things to make a motor run. Find out what one you DON'T have and then figure out why.

Fuel
Air
Compression
Spark

Also remember that if you have no spark, that only means you have no spark. Now you have to find out why.

instead of looking at it as "i replaced a $90 part when a $30 part would have fixed it", look at it as: "now i know the history on this part and my vehicle is nicely maintained". :thumb:
