I'll save you the trouble of reading the articles, in order, top to bottom:

1) It doesn't work
2) It works
3) It doesn't work, and creates other problems.
4) It does nothing, good or bad.
5) It doesn't work.

So, really, since every study essentially says something different.....no body knows anything. The studies that show that works, have different factors as to why it works, and the studies that show it doesn't work, have different factors as to why.

Set down the Fox news, and GTFO the hydroxy sthick.

What I don't get is that social media co. are banning and shutting down clips of doctors coming out and saying that there are different methods that do work and save lives. These are different methods than what the CDC and WHO says. These are doctors that are 30 and 40 years treating patients and have treated some hundreds and thousands of patients. Are they wrong when they come out and say that if you get covid it is not a death sentence.

Sorry, I just don't get the whole anti-mask thing.
How about the new thing, where we will need to wear goggles?
What about the next thing, where we will have to accept the chip?
Will change $$$ be illuminated?
Cashless society?
What about the thing after that????

And before anyone brings it up, I have never appreciated it being a law to wear seatbelts. Once that law went into action, motorcycles should have probably been made illegal. After all, being in a car without seatbelts is much safer than on a bike. What about it being necessary to wear seatbelts, but you can ride a motorcycle without a helmet? Politicians need to stop ruling our lives....

Thank you. We can now add another person to the common sense group. What ever happened to my body my choice? It works for women wanting to kill their offspring.
Full blown socialism is coming and faster than most would like to admit.
Every time the government tells you, "it's for your safety or its to protect the children or it's for your well being. they strip away a little more freedom and those freedoms will never come back. Our founders knew what they were doing when they wrote the constitution. Tyrants then are the same as tyrants today.

I said this years ago. The only person not wearing a seat belt hurts is me. If I don't want to wear one it's my choice. I also agree that it's far safer to be in a car without a seat belt than it is on a bike without a helmet. Fukc off stupid politicians.

By your calculations and deductions then we should all vote for Biden. He's been doing it for decades longer than Trump.

COVID is clearly not a death sentence.

If you're not wearing a seat belt:
You will have more difficulty maintaining control of the vehicle in a emergency situation because you will be trying to hold yourself in place with the things you use to operate the motor vehicle.
If you get in an accident, someone likely has to show up to write a police report.
If you get in an accident with another person due to being unable to maintain control of the vehicle, you may injure them or their property.
If you get in an accident, you may require an EMT to arrive.
If you get in an accident, you may require a hospital visit.
If you get in an accident, you may be sufficiently wounded that you never return to work.
If you get in an accident, your vehicle may be damaged.

In any of those, you're likely to require time from other people and money that isn't yours to solve the problem.

So, 4-10 seconds per trip in a vehicle seems like a small price to pay to mitigate the risk. For most people, they're mitigating the risk of death against other motorist's stupid behavior.

However, I believe it should be a choice to wear a seatbelt. I don't think they should be able to ticket you for not wearing a seatbelt and certainly not pull you over for it.

However, I also believe if you are not found to be wearing a seatbelt when in an accident whether you're fault or not you should:
Be held responsible for the cost inferred by any Fire, EMT, or Police required to respond related to you.
Be held responsible for any and all health costs, and your insurance should deny you access to healthcare benefits with regard to this accident and any future related care.
Be held responsible for the cost of repairing any property damage including your car.

You, of course, should be able to buy a freedom from a seatbelt on your car insurance. $100/car/month and a $40,000 deductible should do it.

If you want personal responsibility, you get ALL of it.

^ Now compare that to the ability to ride a motorcycle. Even more so, a motorcycle without a helmet.

Common sense is not acceptable for all the people deciding what we are allowed to do. I also want to mention, I am a motorcycle fan, I like them a lot.

BUMP....lol

What is everyone thinking about the upcoming school season? I am sending my 12 yo back to class. He is not good at virtual. I want him to get the education as well as the social interaction (even though he struggles some with social as well)…..

I'm thankful that I don't have to think about that. My kids are grown.

New MIOSHA laws in place stating that an employer is prohibited from having employees work in the office if it is reasonable for them to work remotely. This doesn't seem to be getting the headlines I thought it would.

They want people to stay at home. Limit travel and continue with lock downs. Some people seem to be ok with this.

Judging from the packed freeway I travel every day looks like everyone or just about everyone is back to work now around here.

Thanks for putting this out there. We don't live that far apart, and I have not been traveling to the office since March, so it's good to know what the traffic is like.

For me it's a crap shoot everyday in the mornings. One day I'm surrounded by vehicles, the next day I only have a few around me. Today it was like a ghost town.
My time of leaving the house only varies by 5 minutes
On the way home everyday it feels like it's all back to normal, traffic everywhere
