I'm watching daily... and I'm not too worried. I still practice social distancing, just like I've done since Jr High.
I'm living life, but I'm skeptical that this is going to go smoothly based on how many people seem to be throwing caution to the wind. It shouldn't be treated as an on/off switch.

So something that started in Europe and was killing a ton of people there and hyped just as much there was designed to mess with our election?
It's a Global world now. Trump has been a pain in the a_s to everyone Globally. All the old guard have a problem with him upsetting their cash flow.

That and remember "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that [is] it's an opportunity to do things that you think you could not before." Rahm Emanuel

The Media jumped on it and added tons of brush to the fire.

The virus was real, the reaction was fake.

Liberal democrats will use this to transform and change America into their idea of how socialism will be under their control. They would like to see us under UN authority as well.

Good read.

Both of these links claim Michigan is on the rise, but the state's own data doesn't suggest it at all.
https://projects.propublica.org/reopening-america/
https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/10/health/us-coronavirus-wednesday/index.html

Michigan's tracker:
https://www.michigan.gov/coronavirus/0,9753,7-406-98163_98173---,00.html

According to a federal employee I talk to on another Jeep forum who's heavily involved in this stuff "That was brought up in our morning meeting actually. Michigan's and Arizona's state published numbers are being under reported by the state, according to our well informed briefer. The Hospitalization numbers that are going to insurance and CDC folks reflect a rise in those two states that are not reflected in their numbers." Not sure I buy that though. Sounds like anecdotal evidence to me and goes against everything Whitmer and her team have done throughout this sitation. Can't see them knowingly under-reporting anything.

I agree. If anything, I could see them over inflating the numbers. Not the other way around.

Well, numbers are going up daily...
Mostly because of increased testing and more people are getting out. The deaths have dropped a lot though. Hopefully the virus is getting weaker and maybe just dying off itself. We don't hear of mers or sars any more either so just maybe.

We have not increased our testing since mid May so it isn't because of that.

You sure about that? I 'm sure I heard somewhere that testing was increased.
For the nation, yes, but not so much for Michigan.
