I'll be the second person; and my wife can be the third. We both got 3 jabs and both covid free.

That being said.....not "updated" booster here, and still covid free. No different than the flu shots people scramble and fight to get every year; you can still get the flu. Just like you can still get COVID.

5 years ago the only people the cried and threw a fit about shots were anti-vaxxer idoits, and we all laughed at them. Now all of a sudden it's ..."oh it doesn't even work anyway, see this person still got the 'rona"..."it's not 100% effective, it's useless". When literally nothing has changed about them.

Learn to get past the media bullshit, on both sides. Everyone is so hyped up from the media and stick to it. They're not going to cause high mortgage rates, and lower resale value on your car. They're not going to be perfect and end world hunger. Not how they work, or how they ever worked, regardless of what you "thought" you knew.

One of my coworkers got Branch COVIDians last week. He's been boosted twice, and that was his first time getting COVID. He's been sick a bunch of times since the beginning of the pandemic but always missed COVID somehow.

The only reason I got the wuflu shot was because I didn't want to be the person they didn't give a hospital bed to when they were doing triage. People seem to forget there was a time when there were emergency hospitals created because there were no beds available.

I don't get the flu shot. Shit's a known factor, I'll gladly roll the dice on getting the flu.

Non vax here as well, but I've had it at least twice maybe 3 times... each time the symptoms are less. Even if i get it 1000 times i still won't get the vax. If my immune system can't stop it, then it's my time...

Why does this surprise you?

People allowed their places of worship to be closed, their businesses to be closed, turned on their friends and family... Turned in their friends and family...

I'm not at all surprised by the level of compliance exhibited by the general public, nor am I surprised the thin blue line and good ole military happily rounded people up and shut shit down.

The minute they said, you can't go to church, and people were like, ok, if it saves one life... I knew the whole game was over, has been over... They have all the control they need.

Some(maybe most) medications are in clinical trials for years before they're released - that's how they know if you will bleed out your butthole or grow a babies arm out of your forehead. You made a comment about people not having an idea what testing means.. I am curious if you do? I don't mean that in an trolling way, honestly I don't - what testing was done on the vax?

Whether or not the Covid shot was tested for year, I don't know, but I chose not to get it because no doctor could tell me what I was getting, or what would happen to me. (Shoulder shrug) If you(general) got the shot, cool, good for you. I didn't - good for me too.

The main difference is none of those other shots allow you to get, and pass on Polio, Measles, Rubella

Breakthrough infections always happen, blah blah...

I don't think Polio was declared eradicated on the basis of mild cases of break through infections.

missed the point again....as none of those vaccines are 100% effective.

And there have been zero cases of "breakthrough" infections in the United States since 1979...cause everyone got that jab and enough people still get it that even with the less than 100% effectiveness, it still works. Go figure?

You know, i was going to let all this go, but i think the people of this forum deserve to see how truly intellectually dishonest you really are, or maybe you're just intellectually inferior... either way you clearly don't know how to seek, gather, and understand data as it's presented.
You claim that those vaccines are the same as the Covid stab, yet they're not. They're derived from the actual virus itself, the Covid vaccines are supposed to make your immune system stronger by making it "think" that it is being attacked... so you're wrong there.
You also claim that only 20% of Americans are not vaccinated by those vaccines just the same as the Covid vaccines, yet you're wrong again... only 20% of ADULTS in the US have not had at least ONE dose of the vaccines, yet, to be effective you need two doses. My chart below shows the percentage of US ADULTS who have had two doses at 68%... but goes on to show that at this current time there are actually only 33% of US ADULTS have received a booster to STAY vaccinated. There's no data to show how many are currently up to date on their boosters. That's a far cry from the 80% vaccinated currently for all those other viruses you listed...

Now that we know all that, and we know that the vaccines are only effective for between 4-8 months at a time, then we know that no where near 80% of US ADULTS are currently vaccinated against covid, like all those other vaccines you so kindly pointed out. That doesn't even take into account the fact the number of children under the age of 18 that are unvaccinated is much much lower then the number of ADULTS that are current on their boosters.
If so many people are walking around unvaccinated, then why isn't covid running rampant and becoming the killing machine they told us it would? Because it's a cold virus, and it wants to stay alive just the same as us. Killing it's host is not the mission.
Now if you take into account the deaths by age, and deaths by comorbitity, you start to paint the whole picture and realize this virus wasn't going to be the death machine people like you wanted. It does bother me that you people are empowered by your effective weakness to comply with whatever you're told.
Did it make you excited when you heard of businesses closing because the gov shut down commerce for no real reason other than to control? Did it make you happy to hear about people going to jail for being Americans and exerting their so called freedom to do as they wish?
I'll answer that for you, yes, yes it made you both of those things, which in turn, makes you un-Amarican... go fuck your self righteous self and get out of here with your cherry picked data. Sheep

As an aside I'm not putting anyone who got the vaccines into the same category as this clown i quoted, only the people who behave like him and don't have the intellectual fortitude to create an actual argument as to why everything that was done was justified... simply because it wasn't.
