In reality the number of infected is likely way higher but the percentage of hospitalizations and fatalities is lower(but not the actual quantity of them). But at some point, when the hospitals are already maxed out, that becomes moot too. If they're already treating more than they can handle, then fatality rates will climb because they won't be able to save people who they otherwise could.
It's a shitshow no matter how you look at it and it's only just beginning. I should have taken the blue pill.
