Hey guys...

What is the best way and products to use to wash/clean an engine still in the car? There was some oil spillage during my last oil change and there is about 20,000 miles worth of road gunk on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I would say the quarter car wash, and make sure your intake is covered well.

simple green is a good idea(diluted) ive been a car detailer for 7 yrs and simple green does a respectable job but go to a quarter car wash and make sure there power washers are heated...next on ANY vehicle be careful as to not put direct pressure on the intake area as well as the coil packs(especially fords) and other than that everything else will be fine..

Castrol Degreaser. It's in a purple bottle. Water it down some, don't breathe it in, and don't get it on your hands. Spray on the engine, let sit for 5-10 minutes and then hose down.
