I have a car forsale on CL and I get an e-mail saying that this guy wants to know if I still have car. I tell him yes and this is what he sends me back.

Hello,
I just received your mail,i am taking a trip today and i won't be around for sometime to see the item,i believe the item is in good condition,i will need your full name,complete address where you wish to receive the check and your phone number.Immediately i receive these information i will instruct my client to make payment to you.
You will receive payment in a couple of days.I will also instruct my shipper to come and pick the item once the check clears.Kindly,response as soon as possible.Have a great day.

And this is what I reply with

How about this. YOU! come look at car in person CASH in hand (NO CHECKS!!!) You don't get car till I get money. Tha is how it is going to be.

What turned me off is that he asked for full name and full address.

tell him to e-mail you the full name on the account, as well as the bank, and account number of the check he'll be sending....

Don't forget to give him the VIN, and ask for his full name and address so you can send him the signed title. That way he can get a plate and insurance for when he comes out with the cash to buy it.:thumb:
