It's a low pinion D44 from an early bronco. It has cut down F250 axle shafts that are no necked down, with solid Spicer u-joint. The diff cover is the thicker F250 cover which has a welded on reinforcement for the ring gear.is the d44 front is a ford hi pinion or a low pinion d44?? i have someone looking at my tj if it sells id like to look at this. looks very nice in the pics.
is this thing road worthy? by that I mean could i drive it around town nd to work if need be?
