nope, just good clean low mileage axles that come with pretty much everything new. they have less than 4,000 miles since all brakes and seals, king pins and warn lockouts. im new to this site but ive been playing with dana 60s for a while and most guys sell worn out axles that need $1000 or more put into them for a grand. dont agree? dont have too, if they dont sell theyll go under a future truck project. just trying to help somebody out for the time beeing that just wants to bolt up and go.

Just so you know, Texas isn't broke and I was told they love to pay $1000.-$1500. for Chevy D60's shipping isn't that bad.....
Ummm, no

There's a couple guys down there that buy and sell whole military pickups, just axles, tires, 2.5 and 5 ton axles or whole vehicles.

Here's one I've dealt with:

http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/1766721447.html

These trucks have 4.56 gears and the rear is locked for $2,100

good deal, but ive owned several of these trucks, and most times the gears are rust from fluid level up, the kingpins are junk, the hubs are full of rust. not to mention the seals are bad from sitting, the wheel cylinders blow out right away. so there you are putting $$$$$$ into the great deal. it adds up fast on these axles

not saying i wouldnt buy another one,

but these axles are READY TO GO.

Honestly those axles are not going to sell on this site for that much money, if they were locked or geared someone would eventually pick them up.

If your eventually going to have a need for them then keep them, because you can never get the money you put into an axle back out of it.

Ok, i am also new-ish to this site. But im pretty sure that if he wants $1500 for them its his choice, and everyone else should just leave it alone. Its this kind of crap that makes me not want to sell anything on this site as well. 1ton, i would take the axles somewhere else where people appreciate what they are, and will pay the price cause they know what there worth.

its a buyers market right now, not the sellers. no one can afford the price hes asking. no one including my self is ripping on him. if he wants to ask 1500 he can. another member was asking way to much for his truck on here for sale last year. i beleive its still for sale going on well over a year. he can ask what he wants but they wont sell. the price he is asking is a premium price for a standard item.
