I rebuilt this about 20,000 miles ago with all new seals and bearings, I have run mobil 75w90 synthetic ever since. It is a 1977 housing with the guts of a 1986 Military truck. Shoes are newer and drums have been remachined.

definitely a Detroit. It was straight out of a military truck, that was all they ever ran and I have had the cover off for the rebuild, it is definitely a Detroit.
