Ok this isnt my truck,its my buddys cherokee not positive of year but im guessing 95/98 still the old square body. He drove it around all day, then came to start it after sitting for a couple hours it just cranks, full power everything else works but it wont start. the check engine light is on and a NO BUS light which i have no idea wtf it could be. Only thing i can think of is the computer took a crap . no bus , bus maybe meaning ecu? i told him to check all the fuses and he said everything is ok. thanks!

it's a loss of communication between modules.

Computer is fried, something is loose bad wire...

it could also be the main cpu fuse. thats what my tj did when the fuse for the cpu blew.

my wifes 2000 xj did the same thing , check the grounds and clean up the starter connections
