Peanutboozer, Kilas1mo, and I decided to ditch the topless jeep cruise in Clinton and hit up the Hill. We expected a few more, but we were it from Borderline 4x4. The park was busy though, and the drizzle all day firmed the loose stuff up pretty good.

He snapped it in the mud area. My guess is he was beating the living shit out of it when it broke. Theres no reason an axle should snap like that on level ground.

Apparently thats the fourth time hes done that (the shaft, not the tube). On the third time the dealer said they wouldnt warranty it anymore. Me thinks he doesnt treat that JK too nice. :poke:

Nice Pics! I'm sorry I missed it now.
I need to get my TJ fixed. Time to skip some bills and just get it done. LOL.

FYI - Borderline will be heading back to Bundy on the 12th - 13th. We're talking about camping up that way too Saturday night!

wow what happen to that jeep?
When Bondojones says follow Me i'm about to do somethin STUPID! run, Run, RUN FAST IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!!!I believe He hit a water hole WWWAAAYYY to FAST & there was a huge hole in there that the wheel fell into. But in His defence one of the other times it broke, the axle shaft only had a couple hundred miles on it all of which were on road in 2wd this axle has been problematic since new even when not beat on.
