I have a 80K BTU version in my work shop hanging in the corner. It's 30x32 with 14' walls. 6" fiberglass in the walls, 12" fluff in the ceiling. Does a great job. I keep it at 45* when I'm not working (min thermostat temp) and bump it to 58* when I'm working. If I'm working that's a comfy temp, if I'm sitting around too much I get cold and it's a reminder to get moving.

I do similar but am more of a pansy. I do 45 & 65. I have mine on a timer thermostat and kick the heat up about 6:00 am, down to 45 at 8:00 and then back up from 5:30-9:30 in the evening. Truck is super comfy to climb in for work and the shop is warm for evening stuff.

I plan to do the same, always 45, and 65 when I am gonna be out there. Any idea how much of a hit this take on your fuel bill? I know just heating my garage on most weekends took 130 gallons of propane, so $200 last year. This year that would be $300.

Electrician buddy has been working on getting power out there when he has time, thinking it'll be done by the end of next weekend. Hoping spray foam will be in, and barn ready to use my mid oct.

Got a call from the township today telling me I need to take the "stuff" out of my barn since I don't have occupancy yet. Bastards.

Thinking the electric will be finished tmw, or this weekend at the latest. So hope I can get my electrical and final done next week and not have to deal with the twp anymore.

6 weeks shy of 4 year since I bought my air compressor and was finally able to power it up. Hoist is powered up too. Now I just have to wait for the twp to tell me everything is wrong, and I have to redo it when they do inspections next week.

Final electrical Is approved, if I'm understand correctly the next inspection is the building itself, and if It gets approved I can start playing in it soon.
