Chevy 2500HD 4 door short bed. 30,000 miles (truck is 4 years old)

Replaced rear brake pads, turned rotors. Rear wheels lock up when turning. Not every time but most. Disconnected the ABS and still have same problem.
Took apart and checked everything seems okay.
Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

did you bother to look at the parking brakes? if not they may have something to do with the trouble. if its doing it while turning the cab might be flexing enough to drag one side by pulling the cable.

Mine did the same shit last fall. Low speed turns (like in park lots) right rear really drags, even locks sometimes. Mine was a failed wheel cyl., but not failed on the normal way. My piston was stuck IN not OUT. The little pin that engages the cyl. and straddles the shoe was actually getting wedged btween the shoe and the drum. Funn thing was I removed the drum several times and never saw the pin. it would eventually hang up in the mechanism and not bother til the next time it was disloged. prolly not your prob. but sumtin to check, maybe? Ps mine is a 2000 2500 crew, sobasically same truck. Good Luck
