Been a while. Small updates. Took the 35 spline 60 out. Put in a 14 bolt. Bought a Barnes 13 bolt shave cover. Used some u bolt eliminators from Off-road anonymous. Disc brakes. Put 5.13's in it. Just welded carrier for now. Putting the doubler together. Hopefully have that in and hooked up in a week or two.

Got the doubler in, made up a fancy cross member. Working on a belly skid now. Both driveshafts ended up same length at 39". Used super duty front driveshafts for front and rear. Used Dodge 241 parts to make me a cheap sye on my Chevy case. Don't have pictures of shifters but I bought JB fab knobs. Used some BBC h beam rods and wrist pin for pivot point. Turned out real nice

Some pictures of how I tied in an extra support for rear 241 and driveshaft clearance

Drives down the road smooth, double low is ridiculously awesome. Built a front bumper, mounted winch. Took out carpet and plastic interior panels. Roll on bedliner on floor and b,c, and d pillars. Putting in 35 spline stubs and Yukon hardcore hubs next week so I can really beat on it.

Thanks guys. Also i dont have any pictures at the moment but i modified the factory tail housing of transmission to work with a vss. Bought a tone ring from advance adapters. Drilled and tapped the housing to accept the sensor. Put plenty of rtv around it to prevent leaks lol. So far so good. Speedo is off in low ranges but i dont care about that. Shifts through all 4 gears in low and double low.

If you go to R&V Sept 1 I'd be interested in checking this thing out...I want to know how it rides vs how it used to when visser had it and we wheeled the fuck out of it on leafs lol

I might be there. In the middle of starting a new job, selling my house, moving from south of metro airport to traverse city area in the next few months so not sure how much free time i'll have. It rides about as good as it did before. Little stiff on the small stuff but handles big stuff great. Need the coilovers tuned and a sway bar eventually. Just want to get out and use it like i built it. Moving up there will help. I'll be close to seasonal roads and trails, twisted trails, only about 3-4 hours from drummond compared to 6 like i am now. Little closer to r&v as well.

Hell yea that'll be awesome. Congrats on the new everything! It's insane how noticeably better a set of tuned coilovers rides.

Wanted to ask, what area are you moving to? I look at job opportunities up north all the time and have that "some day I want to move" feeling.... Maybe when my son get's older.

Well cool, i hope to see you there. I'll be in my blue piece of shit. I probably won't start watching the races until the unlimited class is up to the line. Be out in the woods until then.
Good luck on your move and new job! That's exciting as well as full of anxiety.

You should watch the sxs. Can get pretty interesting.

Yeah dont think i'll be there for the rbor race. My family is coming up here that weekend. Also having friends camp near us then. We'll be doing the family and friend hang out things. Hit the water, canoe, fires, beer, cruise the trails and stuff.

So far this week i've hit the trails twice. Blazer handles bumps at speeds pretty well. Cruising through the seasonal roads at 40 over whoops and overall impressed.
