So im in the market for some tube fenders for a 2000 tj. Ive seen prices from around $350 to nearly a $1000. Kinda like the smittybilts but also like the metal cloak. What seem to be the easiest/ cleanest install you have used . And how well have they held up? Looking to get ones with at least a 3" bulit in flare.

If you can weld, check out the blue torch fab diy kits.
This. I bought a set for $160. The kit is pretty good. It took a small amount of grinding to get it to fit for my Jeep, but minimal. I would buy this kit again for sure. It looks great. The only real problem is that it doesn't have inner fenders so you have to be clever on how you mount the stuff that used to mount to your fenders inners.
