Anyone know the fine print to their price match policy? Will they match online store prices? I found a tire I need for $77.00 instead of Belle's price of about $120.00. I have the price printed out to show them. What do you think they will do?

Belle Tire price matched a set of tires I printed out from Sam's club, only problem was that they refused to sell me certificates on them.

They also charge for rotation/rebalance. :(

IMHO, discount tire still seems to be #1 for service and pricing.

We were rotating tires for my buddy and we had one of those thin wall sockets for special rims... well it broke, we ran to discount tire and the manager gave us 4 for free. We said we'd pay but he didnt care :woot:. Great service, never went there before that, but i reccomend them to everyone.

Thanks for the advice. I kind of expected to have to pay for mounting and balancing. Discount tire doesn't really deal with Kelly tires, which is what I have. I have one bad one that needs to be replaced. I don't like the tires much anyway, but don't have the $$ to upgrade them all right now.

all depends on the machines a particular location has. Most of the smaller outlets have the machines that only go up to 33-35 max tire size and they get pretty unstable balancing them. If the outlet does alot of commercial business they should have the heavy duty balancer that can handle up to 50 inch i think tires.

Discount will not mount tires that are over 4 years old anymore because of liability issues. They told me that they will probably stop tire repairing in 2008 also, because of liability issues. I took my 5 yr old MT tires to Belle tire and they mounted them for me no problem. I'm figuring Discount has lost me as a customer now with these new policies.
