Someone a long time ago told me what bearing it was in the axle that makes noise when you accel., i just forget which one. Sounds like the rear end but dont know for sure. Its a D44A, makes noise any time i'm on the gas, if i let off it goes away immediately, then returns the second i touch the skinny pedal. I'm guessing one of the pinion bearings, since the WJ's have issues anyways, but maybe someone will know more than me about it :thumb:

well from what I have read the pinion bearing race spins in the aluminum housing which makes the axle housing worthless. But if you catch it early you might be able to replace the bearings? Not a expert though.
