Anyone know of a good bodyman/Painter? I am wanting to get my 1963 Galaxie 500 painted this winter. It is currently red with a white top . Has redo interior with a white headliner. Car is super clean with no rust repair only a few small dings. I want to have it painted black. It has to be razor straight . I have a aftermarket crites teardrop hood for it . I also want the holes where the rocker molding clips go into I want those welded up to delete the rocker moldings. I would prefer the guy/business to be in the Metro Detroit area. I will dechrome the car and strip the interior out of it . Thanks for your recommendations.

go to garry's collision in rochester.
talk to garry lynn, the owner.
take the car, and let him see it, and explain what u want done.
he does excellent work! his painter is second to none!
quality body and paint work, is not cheap, or fast!

good luck!

IMO galaxies should only be 3 different colors. Red which I already have a red car. White would be my choice but my dad has a white 63 galaxie and so do a few friends of ours. So that leaves Black. I don't mind cleaning the cars .

Chelsea Paint and Restoration. Owner is Jason (Deuce). He doesn't get on here much, but loves jeeps and has a pretty good shop, worth a stop over to visit him. He's had some of his stuff at Autorama, I've seen some nice stuff come out of his shop.
