So I need to know if I can just buy and install the 2" spacers to lift my 98 wrangler, or if I have to do a whole bunch of other work with other parts as well. If that's the case I might not lift it.

Thanks

the first one is what you will need (and an alignment), the second one is just the spacers with no shocks or anything. Spacers are spacers, as far as I know, there is not much difference between them. The shocks are what make the ride. Get the cheapest spacers you can find, and the best shocks you can afford.

^ no well not for what you need.

you dont need them. you would just lose 2" of down travel.

so if you wold really like to jack jeep up by axle put jack stands on frame. lower axle. mesure how far youre axle drops and take away 2" from that. and if you will be ok with that # then run the same shocks. if not buy ones 2" longer for stock down travel

yes you can keep your shocks. realy wont hurt much. i run a 2" lift like the one you listed and have had stock shocks in the back for years. BUT wrifrocks is corect you will lose 2" down travel.

my sudjestion is if you want to keep your shocks install these

with these installed you will only lose 1" of down travel!

then when it is time to replace your shocks buy 4 rear shocks and install this up front.

you will then have corect down travel in the front, and only lose only 1" down travel in the back

Thats the rout i would go
actualy i kinda did. just need another set of rear shocks for the front.:sonicjay:
