99 Buell X1 Lightening

Factory pro series exhaust and intake with the race tune ECM.

The tail and swingarm have both been chrome dipped. And the exhaust has been jet hot coated.

I put tires on it last summer and a new battery last spring it has about 19K miles.

I also have a centerstand and some carbon fiber bits and pieces


There are two small chips on the plastic tank cover and a small scuff on the front fender that I am going to repair if I ever get the time.

Is this a bike that is comfortable on long rides, or more crotch rocket style that's meant to be leaning forward all the time?

looks like the foot pegs are about where the swing arm mounts (dont know tech. terms) so Id imagine your pretty leaned forward.

Its not too bad I would want to try an iron butt on it though.

I had a set of MX bars on it at one time and that put me sitting almost straight up.
