Got everything to clear this morning with the wheel spacers on. After work I'm hoping to get the notches in the frame the rest of the way plated in, and then all that's left is finish welding and final assembly.

Were definitely already seeing some of that with contractors. I was on site helping our excavator til almost 11 last night to make sure the basement floor is ready to be poured this morning

I know how you feel. I spent many nights working in the dark trying to get stuff done so the next thing could be done the next day:woot: makes for a long day at work :sonicjay: you'll get there though. Just try to keep your wife happy during all of it... take time for you two, or three now:rock: and still do stuff together, or you could find yourself lost:(

All welded and put back together, I even got the wood stove going so I could throw some paint on it. I was quite surprised to see that with basically no pre load on the springs (100/125) I had almost 7" of shock shaft showing with 200 psi of nitrogen.

Gotta machine some clamp blocks for the reservoirs at work tomorrow and it will be ready for a test drive.

Got the reservoirs mounted, the wheels back on, and I drove it out of the barn for the first time in like 4 weeks!

Made a trip to the dunes this weekend, the jeep is way more smooth riding but I have quite a bit more body roll. Definitely going to have to put the sway bar back in soon. Was able to drive it much faster than normal comfortably so I was happy and it was a great day to be outside

I'll also add that for the first time ever when I felt my shock bodies they were pretty warm to the touch. I was driving it way harder than I ever have up there but it was actually comfortable so I was having fun. How hot is to hot and did i find the limit of my 2.0's? The back shocks with resi's felt hotter than my front shocks with no resi's so that kind of got me thinking that proper valving could help them keep cool because the front definitely still felt smoother than the back.

And I'll add a picture of test hill because I have never seen it like this

Looked like it was running good. We were having a blast running through those "ravines" on the hills.
I had a close call with one of the ravines early on where I thought I was going over...with my dog riding shotgun I decided to stay on the paths more traveled and just go fast haha

Looks like a great time!

Were you heading up 75 early Saturday morning? I feel like I passed a convoy of vehicles and yours was one of them.

Shock guys said we should start to worry if we burn the stickers off. If you see some shocks they pull off after baja, you start to worry a little less about heat. Tuning could help.

Yea they were definitely not that hot, thanks for the input!

I'll probably at some point this winter take the rear coilovers back off to rebuild and revalve. Going to start with a little less rebound and go from there.

Your review of the co's just helps me see how bad I need to upgrade.
