Looking for ideas that would help the acceleration and power issue with the 2.5 L. I'm guessing it has the 3.07 gear ratio and has 215/75/15 tires. Would going to 3.73 gears be better ? I have seen some complete axles with the 3.73 on here cheap. Or maybe just a different size tire with the stock gears ?looking for the cheapest solution since this is my girlfriends and she doesn't want to spend a lot of money as it is a daily driver not an off-roader. It is a manual..

You didn't say if it is a auto or manual trans. If I'm not mistaken all manual trans 4cyl come with 4:10 gears. I don't think they would put a 3:07 in a 4 cyl Jeep but if they did 373 or 410 would help some. Best bet is sell it and buy a 6cylinder.
