Modified post. Everything I wrote in this post is what the Original owner had said was done. I am skeptical about a cam due to the fact it doesn't have the cam lope that I've seen on LT1s on Youtube with said cam. The crank is unknown to be a 400 crank. But I do believe if it did have a 400 crank there should be some sort of cam lope correct? We took my buddies scope and scoped the cylinder and the top of the piston does say .030. so it is verified to be .030 over. Exhaust is obvious. MSD Wires and Coil can clearly be seen.

Actually I live in Napoleon. Work off Robinson at the new retirement center. Always at my buddies shop by Foxfire Apts. Go to buddy Doug's ever day or 2 in Parma off McCain. Take girlfriend to her moms in Albion. I get around ;-)

The crank size would not make a difference on how the cam makes it sound.
Most of the camaros I have seen with this set up run low 12's. Where is the idle set? If it is 1000 RPM or higher it wont make quite a lopey sound unless you idle it down a little. Timing may also be a factor. Did you get my PM?

You cant use LS1 heads with an lt1 intake. Its a total different design. LT4 heads yes. But no to ls1. intake ports are totally different, not to mention it can't have a 400 crank due to the block design, maybe a stroker crank with 1 peice rear main, but the rods would have to be changed to 5.565 to run a 350 piston, or a stroker piston with 5.7 rods.

I will take a look at the car if you want. Just give me a call. my number is in my PM.

If its about the ls1 heads on the lt1 it can be done with an ARP head bolt adapter kit.
Is this what you did?
