4x4 won't engage at all and none of the 4x4 lights will even come on when you press the buttons. All you hear is a clicking noise towards the rear of the truck when you press the 4x4 hi button. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? I've been told it could be a bad 4x4 module under the dash, or bad 4x4 shifter motor on the t-case.

im gonna have to agree the clicking you are hearing is the control module in the rear quarter behind the panel where the spare tire jack is. you either A. have a bad connection at the T case shift motor or B. you have a back T case shift motor. take off the shift motor and shift it by hand and if that works test the connections at the shift motor and narrow the problem to the motor.
