guaging interest in my offroad toy - lots of custom stuff - not pretty but more than gets the job done !!

4.0 motor / AX-15 5speed and NP231 with slip yoke eliminator out of a 97 TJ
Engine tune up last summer including radiator flush and new thermostat - runs cool on the hottest days.
put newer used electric fan with seperate temperature controller in last spring (have spare radiator to go with also)
3" lift
garage built bumpers front and rear
V8 ZJ steering upgrade
welded front & rear diffs -- D30 / non c-clip D35 (much stronger than a c-clip D35) 4.10 gears
front and rear diff guards (not installed)
rear axle truss
lower control arms were sandwiched with 1/8" plates
all new brakes all around
new u-joints up front
new unit bearings up front
custom 3 link suspension - double ended arms with expensive 5/8" heims at each end
1/4" heavy duty crossmember
1/8" angle iron subframe stiffners
full 6 point roll cage ( installed after these pics were taken )
plastic bucket seats from JEGS
gas tank relocated to behind rear seat
all glass but windshield removed
doors removed but still have and go with Jeep
cut fenders to clear 33" BFG MT's (60 - 70% )

$2500

Unibody is pretty beat down and I'd been considering a complete swap to a nicer unibody (this one's getting rusted out) but wanted to see if there was any interest before I do that. If I throw all my stuff into a nicer uinbody I'll probably never get rid of it! :sonicjay:

probably forgetting something ... just call - we can talk

yup. needed a tranny and a tune up. after the tune up and AX-15 swap it's run flawless.

I have some other random things that go with this jeep as well. spare this and that. call or pm if your serious.

For the record the wife doesn't want me to get rid of this unless a good deal is struck. So think up something and we'll talk.

thanks for looking :thumb:

i can't do anything with it right now, i was just wondering because it looked familiar and it was briefly mine before al got it...as in he was helping me by using his truck and trailer to pick up the xj, and we decided he was going to buy it from me before we had unloaded it:sonicjay:

good luck with the sale :beerbang:

Got it, welll as you can testify this one has come a long way ! I really have a lot of time into getting it to run good and making it work on the trail. It's been all around and has only broke a couple of minor things

Oh ! I just remembered ... I have an extra frt and rr axle housing with shafts for both, a set of trail spare unit bearings, a drive shaft that needs the cv rebuilt, the front doors, the rear hatch glass, and probably a hand full of other jeep stuff that goes with this jeep.

In other words you can buy this jeep and all the stuff that goes with and go wheeling AND have spare parts !
