What I've got is an 83 Jeep J10, mildly built amc 360, TF727 trans, 208 Tcase, HD Dana 44 front, FF Dana 60 rear with a detroit, newer pro comp steel wheels, and 38.5" ground hawgs <they suck but they work ok. front axle was rebuilt about 200 miles ago also
Comes with some extra shit: York 210 with brackets, spare alternator, brakes and brake kits for the rear, spare driveshaft joint, and whatever other crap i have for it.
now things that dont matter. its got a newer JVC cd deck in it, factory bucket seats (drivers seat is worn out), rear sliding window, sunroof (doesnt leak).
the trans lost reverse, the linkage is rly loose so it may not be shifting right, or it could be the reverse servo ($60 part and labor on the bench). this thing runs great and has no problem with power. looking to trade for pretty much anything with a solid front axle or 2wd ranger. since i have to have a price $1500 with motor $1100 without motor and trans
Interested in an 89 2 door xj? 4wd works great, manual everything, ax15 manual trans, 231 t case. 5" or so lift, short arm, decent tread 33's...little trail rash, might balance out a little better but it never bothered me.
Surface rust, but it's really solid. Flat black paint job. Starts every time and gets through everything. Only bad is that it started smoking the other day. Probably needs valve stem seals in the head. I'll get some pictures if you're interested.
How's the rust on the truck? Everything work? Burn/leak anything?
