Some of you might know me, Collin, I've been to a handful of events in the last year or so riding along with @Ryanw10 or @BLZR. Well I decided to finally bring a build thread over here...I don't feel like posting all of my rebuild progress from when I totaled it until now but if you have any questions just ask...

It was stock when I totaled it and this is what it looks like now

I'm currently 8 lug rear 5 lug front. I should be 8 lug front and rear by the time I head up to Drummond on Oct 22nd. Last night I just picked up some Corbeau Baja JP Wide seats and threw them in, just gotta make a harness bar and get the 4pt's installed.

I've done all the work myself or with the help of friends so I can answer any questions you might have...for some reason there aren't a lot of JK build threads on GL4x4 :sonicjay:

Here's what's left, all parts from HP Dana 44

Mini spool (auto-locker force locked) $50
4.10 down carrier $50
Yukon thick cut 5.13s, 3 months old $200
Good flat tops $150
Bad flat tops $50
Spindles/hubs ???
OE Long side shafts w/ spicer $115
OE stub $50
OE lockouts - one works properly, one won't unlock but works just fine in "locked" position $50

My buddy already called dibs on the 4.10s, brake brackets, premium lockouts, and chromo short side.

Picked up my frame chop bumper from laser today along with my roll cage body tie-ins. Got it all bent and tacked together, just have to finish cutting my frame tomorrow and test fit. Also started looking into parts for my 60. Really want a selectable locker but I don't know if money will allow in the time frame I'm shooting for.

That's OK. It doesn't hurt to get the awareness reminder brought up from time to time.
I agree safety is #1 priority. I was making a reference to the Napoleon Dynamite movie when they're discussing the mountain bike and he asks about taking it off some sweet jumps. None the less it would make a sweet little dune cruiser.

What weekend is Applefest? I think I might be up there then as well
I wasn't being serious about jumping it either, I picked up on Lukes reference to Napoleon.

I agree with @whiterhino that it would be a huge safety issue and freak accidents can happen
